The light illuminates the walkway timidly, for an expectant public who glimpse a dress half done!, before the fashion show.To everyone´s atonishment, the star of our latest catwalk was none other than the first suit in process of manufacture. The real purpose of Jesús Peiró team was make us partakers of the arduous and delicate craftsmanship that´s behind the designs of the Catalan house.
And they did it showing a toile (test dress) made in orgal, a fabric that is used to build the interior of the dresses, tulle structured in different hands and edged with black cotton tape. The same tape used in the profession to bookmark quadrants that divide the different parts of a sewing mannequin. Gorgeous!
