Living in the 90s

A few weeks ago, I went to buy the eighteenth denim of the season: I had to complete my collectionwith “mom jeans” or what is the same, the jeans that mom wore in the 90s.

This spring, our wardrobe brings us back to the days of Beverly Hills, 90210 with others must have as the slip dress, the legendary minimal dress that Kate Moss popularized and now all emulate.

If you prefer sporty looks, you will like to know that the bomber is trend, and you can wear it with jeans and/or dresses. Its better half? White sneakers. Yes, everybody is wearing them (including Victoria Beckham!). There is no turning back: the classic version of the sneakers is fashionable.
Also the bandana scarf comes back, which you´ll tie at your neck this summer. Or do you prefer it as a headband? This fashion accessory is aimed to “anything goes” without conditions. Now you only need to look for it in the trunk of memories… And it was precisely what I was doing, when I found my old jacket decorated with a dozen patches. And who does not remember ironing them on everything we had in our wardrobes? Good news: the iron is demodé. Now fashion brands lines for you shirts, jeans and jackets with the funniest stickers.

Calvin Klein is one of these big firms that support the trend of the 90s, retrieving sport underwear and the old habit of showing it. Do you dare?

The body is another must have you will wear, as you´ll do with swimsuits that, after a disputed distance race, had won the battle to bikinis. Anyone could forget the TV series Baywatch… and neither do with the mythical chokers of teenagers, in its fervent attempt to redecorate our neck (I´m out!). But I will bet on print logos and ultra-feminine cropped tops. Definitely, I´m living in the 90s. What about you?
