We invite you to immerse yourself in the history of the most famous dynasty in the United States thanks to the exhibition “The Kennedys“, which commemorates the 50th anniversary of JFK‘s assassination in Dallas. One fateful outcome that not only marked the end of a political era, also ended the days of American glamour, institutionalized by the sublime style of Jackie Kennedy. Nobody wore like her caps and sleek jackets, and she inadvertently invented the concept of “look lady” .
These days, the Loewe Gallery in Barcelona hosts a collection of 40 portraits and photographs that have not seen light in 50 years, where the master hand of Mark Shaw -who was the head photographer of Kennedy- show us the politician history since his victory in the elections of 1960 until his assassination in 1963.
With this exhibition , Loewe claims a classic vision of beauty, stripped of all artifice and, of course, photoshop. We support the motion.
