Female art

When you look at her brushstrokes, you know is she who drew them. For her colors, stroke and soul. Ángeles Muntadas´ work is feminine by definition.

Also subtle, melancholy and emotional. Like many women, I supose.

Last week I went to enjoy her last exhibition: Fuga fósil supra papel, in Alejandro Sales Gallery (Julian Romea, 16. Barcelona). And while I was observing her mysterious and colorful paints, I was excavating in the intimacy of the artist to decipher her pictorial language. I think I failed. Although she was naked in front of me.
