Still with unpacked suitcase and French smell sweetening her wrists, Merche Segarra and her team are working on the new collection. All them recognize the energy the City of Light gave them last week, when they could breathed the bohemian atmosphere of the Place des Voges, enjoyed the magnificent exhibition of Dries Van Noten at the Museum of Les Arts Décoratifs, visited the Conran Shop, where they were captivated by exquisite home textiles, cute tableware, jewel books and furniture with character. Just landed in Paris, the Jesús Peiró team ran to Le Bon Marché store, where fashion comes alive in its finest.
The route of the most emblematic shopping boutiques of Paris was an unavoidable appointment: Chanel, Hermès, Giambattista Valli… were some of the houses they visited, futhermore of Colette, the temple of trends. Printemps gallery also had his deserved space on a calendar that was already running toward the Première Vision, where they bought the tissues that are going to give life to the next Peiró designs. “We were able to enjoy precious collections, news and poetic and innovative spirit”, tell me Merche.
And nothing is better than Le Grand Colbert restaurant to put an end to a dream trip with laughs and chocolate. “Paris causes a feeling of kick-off difficult to define, but it gives us illusion to work in our next collection”.
