Cold creatures that leave a trail of frost that sprinkles crystals on their delicate dresses. They are the Snow Princesses who were on Jesús Peiró fashion show yesterday, walking tirelessly towards the Sanctuary of Nanda Devi, the imposing mountain between India and Nepal which means “Goddess who give happiness.” The same that has inspired fabrics that seem frozen and shine -but only sometimes- through embroidered with sequins and crystal. Fil coupé is the star of the collection; without forgetting the chantilly with gold and geometric effects, lace, brocade, cotton guipure, plumetti tulle and georgette crepe.
The novelty? The patchwork between classic bridal fabrics, and cropped tops becomes the new ally of brides who are looking for giving a twist to tradition. Soft dresses, jewel encrusted and backs are delicately veiled by one or more overlying tissues.
They are the exotic and quiet princesses os Jesus Peiró, who walk to Nanda Devi while the Himalayan sunset guide their way.
